I represent employees when they believe they have been treated unfairly.
My law practice in the labor and employment area has involved counseling on all aspects of the employer-employee relationship including handling matters in federal and state court, arbitration and administrative forums.
I have participated in employment decisions and employment policy making from three distinct and separate points of view. As an attorney, I advise on proper employment practices and compliance. As an employer, I made decisions regarding employment practices and policies that affected all employees in the company and made decisions regarding individual employment disputes that affected the individual employee and the company. Finally, as an employee (General Counsel for three companies), I negotiated my own employment agreement and understand the motivations and concerns of an individual when addressing employment-related decisions.
My practice now focuses on representing employees with regard to:
- Executive Compensation Agreements
- Severance Agreements
- Non-Compete Agreements
- Discrimination Claims
- Wage and Hour Claims
- Overtime Claims
- Unemployment Claims
- Class Actions
- Family Medical Leave Act
- Wrongful Termination
